THERMALHOME uses an insulated steel framing system that are panelized light weight, highly insulated, and offer fast construction.. Whether you use it for residential, commercial or industrial applications THERMALHOME offers energy efficient, finish as desired, sound deadening, and no termites or mold. The fast assembly reduces labor costs and no waste means higher profit. Load bearing walls and roof lower mechanical requirements and last the life of the structure. Lightweight - Each Panel weighs under 24 pounds eliminating need for costly foundations. Rapid Installation - High Speed versus traditional concrete or steel plate wall systems. Sound Deadening Capabilities - with an STC of 55 or better. Fire Resistant - offering one hour plus fire rating. Meets flame spread/smoke development criteria. Time and money is saved in not having to build excessive load bearing foundations. The interior side of the exterior walls is sheet rocked allowing a variety of finishes. For retrofits, only BAM-8™ affords rapid installation of a protective inner wall that then can be cosmetically treated to esthetically fit with the rest of the decor. This lightweight, antiballistic wall permits retrofit without extensive foundation work or disruptive concrete pours. Take BAM-8™ up as many floors as necessary. Incorporate it in the ceiling and/or floor. Shown here is the new State Department Certified BAM-1A - combination antiballistic and anti-forced entry wall. The BAM-1A includes the structurally proven ThermaSteel panels on each side, the proprietary antiballistic BAM Inner Matrix including DuPont™ Kevlar® and the exclusive anti-forced entry shield. The BAM-1A panel has been tested by a US government-approved facility and certified as an antiballistic/anti-forced entry wall unit. In this test three distinct full metal jacket bullets were fired into the wall with none exiting. Then the same wall was attacked with a wide variety of manual tools and resisted forced-entry for the prescribed time period. In a separate test the Underwriters Laboratories Inc. in Northbrook, Illinois established that the antiballistic wall met the parameters for a UL Level 8 — 5 shots within a 4-1/2” square using 30/06 147 grain, full metal jacket bullets with a strike velocity of just under 3,000 feet per second.
